Oleh karena itu kami selakukan akademisi di bidang farmasi melakukan Praktek Kerja Lapangan Industri pada tiga Negara, yang kami Anggap mewakili kebutuhan akan informasi yang ingin kami dapatkan.
Oleh karena itu kami mengunjungi beberapa industri farmasi
1. PT. Kimia Farma Tbk
Kimia Farma merupakan pioner dalam industri farmasi Indonesia. Cikal bakal perusahaan dapat dirunut balik ke tahun 1917, ketika NV Chemicalien Handle Rathkamp & Co., perusahaan farmasi pertama di Hindia Timur, didirikan. Sejalan dengan kebijakan nasionalisasi eks perusahaan-perusahaan Belanda, pada tahun 1958 pemerintah melebur sejumlah perusahaan farmasi menjadi PNF Bhinneka Kimia Farma. Selanjutnya pada tanggal 16 Agustus 1971 bentuk hukumnya diubah menjadi Perseroan Terbatas, menjadi PT Kimia Farma (Persero). Sejak tanggal 4 Juli 2001 Kimia Farma tercatat sebagai perusahaan publik di Bursa Efek Jakartadan Bursa Efek Surabaya.
Berbekal tradisi industri yang panjang selama lebih dari 187 tahun dan nama yang identik dengan mutu, hari ini Kimia Farma telah berkembang menjadi sebuah perusahaan pelayanan kesehatan utama di Indonesia yang kian memainkan peranan penting dalam pengembangan dan pembangunan bangsa dan masyarakat.
2. PT Martina Berto Tbk (Martha Tilaar)
Pada tahun 1977, PT Matina Berto berdiri sebagai industri rumah dengan produk bermerek Sariayu. Pada tahun 1981, perusahaan mendirikan pabrik modern pertama di Pulo Ayan, Pulogadung Industrial Estate. Pada tahun 1986, pabrik kedua didirikan pada Pulo Kambing, Pulogadung Industrial Estate.
Pada tahun 1993, perusahaan mengakuisisi pabrik kosmetik PT Cedefindo sebagai manufaktur kontrak untuk internal dan eksternal. Pada tahun 1995, PT Martina Berto III didirikan di Gunung Putri, Bogor. Pada tahun 1996 PT Martina Berto menjadi pabrik kosmetik pertama di Indonesia yang memperoleh 9001 certification.In ISO 2000, perusahaan ini menjadi satu-satunya pendiri Global Compact PBB dari Asia, juga mendapatkan sertifikat ISO 14001 dan sertifikat GMP: CPKB (Cara Produksi kosmetika Yang Baik) dan CPOTB (Cara Produksi Obat Tradisional Yang Baik). Pada tahun 2008, ia dianugerahi "Most Admired Enterprise di ASEAN" kategori 'Inovasi' dari Asean Bussiness Forum.
3. NEWater Singapura
NEWater is the brand name given to reclaimed water produced by Singapore's Public Utilities Board. More specifically, it is treated wastewater (sewage) that has been purified using dual-membrane (via microfiltration and reverse osmosis) and ultraviolet technologies, in addition to conventional water treatment processes. The water is potable and is consumed by humans, but is mostly used by industries requiring high purity water.
Singapore has four operational NEWater factories, at Bedok, Kranji, Ulu Pandan and Changi. Bedok and Kranji were commissioned in 2002, Ulu Pandan in March 2007 and the Changi plant in August 2009. A plant at Seletar, commissioned in February 2004, is now closed. The Bedok and Kranji plants are operated by the Public Utilities Board, while the Ulu Pandan and Changi plants are under DBOO concessions by Keppel Seghers and Sembcorp Industries There is a Visitor Centre in the NEWater factory in Bedok, near the Singapore Expo Tanah Merah MRT Station. Admission is free. The visitor center was awarded the Best Sightseeing/Leisure/Educational Programme at the 20th Tourism Awards 2005 and the IWA Marketing & Communication Award in 2006. The visitor center has multiple free programs to provide education about the technologies and water production- NEWater Scientist Program - Students take on the role of NEWater Scientists and explore the visitor center
- Outdoor Classroom - Host fun activities and experiments that help students learn about reverse osmosis and other NEWater processes
- Water Ambassadors - Small workshops that teach uniformed groups (i.e. National Cadet Corps and Scouts Assoc.) skills to be water ambassadors
4. Nasuha Herb
Nasuha Enterprise Sdn Bhd a wholly family-owned founded by Tuan Haji Nasuha Kasian, prides itself as being the pioneer and leader in the herbs and spices based industry with more then 108 types of products being distributed. The company produces an extensive selection of raw spices, curry spices powder, soup spices powder using Mak Siti brand.
It's plantation is located at the 12th Mile of Jalan Muar - Pagoh in the State of Johore, Malaysia. The plantation land covers an area of over 1500 hectares, known to be the largest herbs and spices plantation in Asia, producing 6 to 10 metric of raw herbs and spices each day.
The plantation is planted with 135 type of herbs collected from all over the world. It uses purely organic system of cultivation, without chemical fertilizers and herbicides, producing herbs free from chemical contamination. The herbs are harvested and dry-processed using latest technology to prevent the loss of natural nutrients, thus maintaining high nutritional quality of its product. Blending and packaging are done immediately after drying to reduce any contamination and to maintain freshness of the product.
Under the guidance of its founder, plantation owner Tuan Haji Nasuha Kasian, the company's continuous efforts to maintain the highest quality of its products, fresh and free from any preservatives and colouring agents has achieved a remarkable success. Its workforce of dedicated employees, most whom have been with the company since formation are themself a specialist in the domain of spices and herbs and a contributory factor to the success of the company today.
Over the years, the company have invested a significant amount of capital in terms of research and development. Its continuing investment in producing better and new herbal products shows its commitment to better health for you and your family.
